Crittenden, Ebenezer – 1809

Petitioner was born in Connecticut and came to this province in 1778 as a soldier. He served in the Royal Nova Scotia Regiment. He received 200 acres of land near Preston, but the quality was so poor he sold it at that time and moved to the Gut of Canso where he purchased 100 acres. The original owners have since left the province and he is hoping to receive a grant for his purchased land and for some of the land they had abandoned. |
