    Dave,
A little while ago Donna sent you an e-mail saying that I was researching the Johnson Family. In her e-mail she suggested getting together for a lunch and that is still on the to-do list in the New Year. In the interim, I was wondering if you could help me by identifying the brothers and sister of Donna's father, Paul. I have done some research which shows that there were likely 10 children in Paul's family. I was wondering if you can confirm, or correct, or add any names in the list which follows:
    Ernest Donald Johnson
    Walter Johnson
    Norman Johnson
    Harold Robert Johnson (1914-1990)
Francis Arther Johnson (1905-1905) died as an infant
    John Edward Johnson (1907 - )
    Arthur Benjamin Johnson (1909 - )
    Mary Elvira Johnson (1910 - )
    Thomas Alexander Johnson (1912-1987)
    Gordon Paul Johnson ( 1923-2010)
    Thanks for your help.
    Regards

I don't have the dates for uncle Ernie or Aunt Mary, Berma might be able to get them from Marleen, I don't know how to get hold of her. Berma's email is bermamcdonald@charter.net

    Dave,
Thanks very much for the family information. Donna always thought, for some reason shes not really sure why, that the Uncle who was in the mental institution (Harold Robert) was named Norman. So I guess there was not an Uncle named Norman as the family bible suggests.
I am wondering if you could fill in some of the blanks on your family for the history file....
Where did your father die and where was he buried?
    What was your father's occupation?
Information about your mother, her maiden name, date of birth, date and place where your parents were married, when and where she died and where she was buried, the names of her parents if you know them?
Your date of birth and place where you were born. Donna said you had a daughter I think her name is Brit, her date and place of birth and information on any other children that you may have.
Information about your wife, her maiden name, date of birth, date and place where you were married, the names of her parents.
There is no immediate rush to get the information to me just as you have a few minutes.
Just so that you are aware I do not share or publish any information on living individuals other that their names. If you would like to see how information is published you can visit my web site at www.gittensfamily.ca
When we meet early in the New Year it sure would be interesting to see the family bible, I will get Donna to set up a date for us to meet.
In the mean time Donna and I would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and many good wishes for a new year of happiness and prosperity.

    Dear Burma,
As you are likely aware from an e-mail that Dave sent to you I am focusing my efforts following the death of Donna's father Paul on trying to accumulate a family history on the Johnson Family of Thunder Bay. I have done some preliminary work which you can find on my Web Site at www.gittensfamily.ca
I found a very interesting article on your Great Grandmother, Catherine Johnson, in a publication called the Bay Street Project which also included a picture of your Great Grandmother. You can find it at my Blog Gittens Family History at http://gittensfamilyhistory.blogspot.com/
I am now trying to accumulate information on all of Paul's siblings and Dave has been quite helpful in that regard. I was wondering if you could also help by providing some information on your family.
The information I am looking for is as follows:
Your date and place of birth. I have asked Dave for information on your mother.
The name, date and place of birth of your husband. When and when you were married.
The names, dates and places of birth of any of your children.
There is no immediate rush to get the information to me just as you have a few minutes.
Just so that you are aware I do not share or publish any information on living individuals other that their names. If you would like to see how information is published you can visit my web site at www.gittensfamily.ca
Donna and I would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and many good wishes for a new year of happiness and prosperity.
