If my dear daughter-in-law Sarah Jackson shall be delivered of the child…and born alive I direct that the sum of sixteen pounds a years interest at the principal sum of two hundred pounds now in the hands of my good friend Mc Beall to be paid out in the purchase of a little Negro for my said grandchild.
I give to my dear son John Jackman one hundred pounds the residue thereof I give to my dear son Joseph Gittens…I give one of my late dear husbands gold shoe buckles to my said son Joseph Gittens and the other to my said son Joseph Gittens to make each of these a bandbuckle which I desire they will wear in remembrance of me. …to my deardaughter-in-law Sarah Jackman my pair of stone buttons… To my good friend Mrs Elizabeth Kierne my two wedding rings and all the rest and remainder of my estate…to my said son Joseph Gittens his heirs executors and assignees for ever Executor; Joseph Gittens 9 June 1752.(signed by mark) Witnesses: Cooper Palgreen, William Duke
