| Text | Barbados Archives, Black Rock Main Rd, Bridgetown, Barbados Deed 260-67 dated 10 Nov 1815 1st Party: Thomas Ostrehan Esq. of St. Thomas. 2nd Party: Rev John Hamlet Gittens of St. George said clerk and his wife Lucretia, late Lucretia Hall and formerly Lucretia Ostrehan, spinster. 3rd Party: Elvira Ostrehan of St. Michael, widow. 4th Party: Joseph Ostrehan of St. Michael, son of Elvira Ostrehan. 5th Party: Samuel Perry of the City of Bristol and George Gibb the Younger of Bristol. Whereas Lucretia Ostrehan widow deceased the grandmother of the said Thomas Ostrehan, Lucretia Gittens and Joseph Ostrehan duly made and published her last will and testament in writing bearing the date 17 Feb 1799 and hereby devise and bequeath unto her two friends Richard Mahon Esq and Benjamin King Reece and their survivors , her land in St. Michael called "Friendship" and all slaves buildings etc.... Mahon and Reece should permit her son Joseph Ostrehan to have free and interrupted use of the estate. Daughter in-law Elvira Thomas Ostrehan the son of her late son Joseph, by his late wife.
