Cliff, the Will of Matthew Chapman below, seems to indicate fairly clearly that his daughter Elizabeth married Isaac Gittens. This is why I have Isaac married to two Elizabeths. Perhaps the unknown woman, aged 60, was the mother of Ann Gittens nee Cook.
By the way,I find it interesting that Isaac named two sons John, both of whom were alive when he made his Will . The first, whom I call John the Elder, seems to have left Barbados some time before 1710 . Perhaps he is the common ancestor of the Githens family that Professor Sherwood Githens was looking for in Barbados in 1977.
Isaac's second son, whom I call John the Younger, also went to Philadelphia but died soon after arrival.
