"The residence of Mr. Geo. Morrison, merchant of Glengyle, was thescene of a fashionable wedding on Wednesday evening June 26th, in thepresence of about 60 relatives and intimate friends his daughter Idawas united in marriage to Mr. S. D. Devenny, of Buckingham, Que.
On the lawn an arch of evergreens had been erected, beautifullydecorated with acacias, flags, chinese lanterns, and a large floralhorseshoe.
Promptly at 8:30 o'clock the groom who was ably supported by Mr.Stanley Newton took their places under the arch. Shortly afterwardsthe bride appeared leaning on the arm of her youngest brother,attended by Miss Margaret Graham, who made a charming bridesmaid.
